Aftermath.

Yesterday we didnt get to show our stuff. Couldn't be rendered on time and we realised we were rendering in the wrong format. =( Oh well. Jy has not been contact any of us. So yesterday we did everything we could, angie, jake and i. And it was 50% of our grade. 50% Jake keeps thing it's his fault. Angie keeps thing it's her fault for not doing much. I think it's our own faults we should have had time management and dicipline. =( oh well. my animation probably didnt finish because i didnt have enough dicipline. This post is very very very painful. Because i just extracted my teeth this morning. 8 of them. And i could go school and help jake and angie compile stuff. I feel so bad. Towards my group and the lecturers who gave us so many chances. =(

JY reached my house and said what you know? Oh i totally forgot about my trailer. When we kept reminding him!!! And he whole of last night, kept editing editing editing and he just did his own thing and insisted that we put his trailer in. we so busy already luh. And i haven't even have the chance to edit my own animation. The a imations havent even been scanned and put in after effects. AHHHH! Oh well. I am so dead. Oh well. Nevermind at least our group's clip is put together. We're having trouble with putting mao in though.

EMERGENCY.

How are we supposed to finish on time if the editing is not even done. He hasnt even done his part, and put in angie's part, my part and jakes part. How on earth are gonna finish???
Everyone is staying in my house tonight to rush things. Im going home to do the editing myself. I dont understand why he took so long!

Today is monday.

JY has gathered us in school to do voice overs when he hasn't even finished editing. And he blamed me for not coming earlier to help him edit. WHAT? HAHA. SO now it's my fault? When he was the one he messaged me and told me to come at 1? And then all of us had to wait for him to edit. AND he never didnt even finish on that day. Grrrr. We wasted our day there for nothing. Angie, Jake and I. I already told him, voice oversw should be the last. Do the introduction and animations first.

Today is friday.

I wanted to show jy how to do the doubles today but he was so stubborn. I did two scene of the doubles already and i asked him so? do i save cause he didnt feel like doing it that day. And he said no. Does it matter who does the doubles?

Editing Editing Editing

Im been doing my animation for the past few days... Angie too. Jy is still editing and jake is doing his triple shot. His pc crashed so theres no way he's gonna be doing ned anymore. Wasted the model of him punk was so so nice. oh well. Im so scraed we wont make it in time.

Ho ho ho. Life goes on.

Oh man! Jy's editing is going so slow. ahhh. and somemore i told jake to let him do the doubles. Aiyah. nevermind. i dont think it'll take too long. Just maybe two or three more days? =) Angie and I are done with 2 scenes. One is done by me and the other by her. YAY. we only have 4 left. =( I never though it was this difficult. especially to animate walking. =(

WE ARE GOING GOOD.

YAY! Today Angie and I met up to dicuss about our trailer. We have chosen our Characters and.. we've even come up with what words to use. I showed her my affter effect typography of hope and she was so amazed! hahaha. Yes, good job andrea. =) Angie showed me the animation of the scene where ani turns around and says, "i believe". It was good. i have to buck up too! =)

CHARACTER DESIGN~!

HAH! Today while JY was editing, Angie and I started on our character design. YAY. =) Although we couldnt come up with anything, we are on the same wavelength when it comes to the style we want~! YAYAYAY! We're meetin up on thursday to discuss again. =)

WHEE~!

Today, we returned ALL the furniture lent to us. They were unharmed during the filming and we even cleaned them up! YAY! So the editing starts today! =) We can make it we can make it! =)

Refilming!

Today's filming went great!!!! We finished everything in one day! AMAZING! It could only be done by god's grace. Haha. We actually were able to adjust the lights and have better lighting! And, the set was great, the angles were good, the host's dress up was good, the script was good (we used the overhead projecter to flash the script) and the people were GREAT! the acting went flawlessly! =)

My two minutes.

Today is friday. =) The powerpoint presentation went super well. =) Then we have to pass up the ACTUAL storyboard and the ACTUAL script and the ACTUAL timeline by monday. =)
Angie is doing the storyboard. And I will do the script. Yays. Hope we make it in time. Angie and I are meeting up on saturday.
Anyway, I realised that i havent talked about my two minutes. My two minutes is an animation trailer. Thats all. It's a story of a young boy named Dante who discovers a magical object and uses it to heal his sister who is gravely ill. His siter then uses the object to save the world, giving her life in the process.

Another discussion day.

Today's filming wen well. And it was only a try out. We confirmed what costume to let the host, Fabio wear and, The guest were to wear formal attire. Then, I went home and did the powerpoint presentation. Angie went home and did the story board. =)

Two Times Vani Rawks.

Yay. Vani said we could keep the furniture overnight in the tv studio. We did a great deal of hiding the stuff and trying to make sure other people wouldn't use them. So anyway, the filming that day went well! Yay. while jake went for class, we all though of the icons to use and designed the graphics for the start of the talk show.. =)

High Chairs. =)

Im supposed to find high chairs so that the guys can sit behind the girls. Thanks to Eugene, a Student Ambassador senior, i got Che Guan's number. And then we borrowed the high chairs from the lecturer's lounge. the, we still have to find the introduction and ending music fpor the talk show. =)

Another discussion day.

We are supposed to borrow cameras today.. But we didnt. Today, Jy and I consulted Alfie about the music copyrights. Alifie said: " I would suggest NOT to. SERIOUSLY." Aww. We'll find a way out of this. =) Angie told us today of her MAO which is her puppet. It is supposed to interact with her and talk and roll about. Cute. So anyway, we're supposed to do storyboard and the angles for filming soon. Haha. We better get to it.. An we still have to think of what music to use.

Set change. =(

Today, We borrowed the set from vani and carried it down to the Tv studio. We set up the set. And i brought the props.. The flowers only actually. Then as for the cups, Angie forgot to bring them but it's okay. We still have next week. Today wasn't the actual thing anyway. So anyway, The set was not really that appropriate. The arm chairs were weird when all 4 were put facing the host. So we have to change the set. Easier said than done. =(

Valentines day!

Happy Valentines day Peeps! Yay. So anyway, My group didnt do much today. BECAUSE, today is valentines day. So anyway. Jake wants to do NED, a 3d character that is supposed to be another student from MOI too. Who just keeps saying totally and stuff. I decided that mine is just simple. Show some of my past works and a short animation trailer. Short and sweet. =)

VANI ROCKS!

Vani ROCKS! She is going to lend us our set!!! YAY. YAY. YAY. YAY. It was just a random question like, vani, do you know where i can a sofa set for my filming? Anyway, the bottom line is, VANI ROCKS. IM SO HAPPY SO HAPPY SO HAPPY. I thought we wouldnt be able to find the set.

TV STUDIO

Yay. Alan booked the tv studio for us today. YAY. Still looking for where I can get the furnitures. Sigh. But Alan is really nice. =) We have to show him our script before we can use the studio on next thursday.

Our Logo.

Ha. It's the start of something new. It's MONDAY~!!!!! wheeee~! haha. My group and I have settled on the name, MAD HOUSE PRODUCTIONS!!! YAY. It is such a cool name. It's so me. Whahahaha. So anyway. We brainstormed on the ideas of how to do our Madhouse productions logo and the animation for it. =) Lots of cute and funny ideas were thought of. We finally settled on..
The logo is a House and it's like compressing and expanding like a creature breathing really hard. Then people are gonna run out like they're mad. Then the words- Mad House productions will come crashing down on them.
Saddistic. I know. But humourous. =)

Places to film

Wednesday - We decided today that we wanted to do our filming in a place that is:
1) Quiet
2) Has good lighting
3) Is spacious
4) Has a Tv
5) Has a Sofa

We thought of using the following places:
-Light and sound studio
-Tv studio
-Design space
-Staff lounge

And after the recke of places we decided to use the Tv studio because it fits all the criteria best.
YAY. At least now we have a place to film.

Presentation 1

We had presentation 1 today!!! We didn't really do much, just a simple slide show to show what our ideas. The talk show and the clover field style Borat documentary around the school... I think my group kind of liked the talk show idea more compared to the Borat documentary. When we asked for opinions the rest of the class also agreed with the talk show idea. They were kind of stoned. I think our presentation was boring. But oh well.. Haha. Someone suggested that we combine the two ideas together but i kinda didn't want to because it would look like a news broadcast. =( I just dont like the idea.. i think i'll be even more boring.

OH NO.

Today, we were really busy. We had Design Orientation Training Camp. All of us were in it except JY. And then in the afternoon when JY and I were in the computer lab, we consulted Alfie. Jake and Angie were in class. So, the out come was... I think we're off track. The main objective of the video was, "what was the message we wanted to convey?" But we were focusing on what theme we want or what ideas we wanted to put in it. We should have thought of the message first, then make it look creative with our ideas, animation and film techniques... So, we have to rethink what is the messgae we want to convey.

Some of the messages:

- MOI is different and fun.

- What is MOI about.

thats about it i think..

JY and I came up with some ideas to go along with it.

1) A video with lots of people from our course showing on boards one word about MOI

2) A video of our senior graduation and us planning a surprise party.

3) A dance. i forgot what it's called.

We also prepared to presentation 1.
I had wanted to settle the objective and ideas as well as do the timeline... But oh well. too bad.

Heros!

Today right...  We started off with discussing about our 3 what ifs. Then jake suggested we do a talk show like ellen degengres (i think it's spelt like that). Alan gave us really good ideas like inviting guests and we were the guests. haha. But then we decided not to go with the talk show. We wanted something more.. unique and interesting to watch. Because the video was 10 minutes long, we thought that a talk show couldn't capture the viewer's attention for so long. Then Jake and Angie had class to attend to so me and JY were left thinking of the themes to go with and the shell of the project (the story). Then Tom, our senior came to help us. He gave us ideas on how to film and what techniques to us. But we were kinda on different wavelengths cause we couldn't understand and he was a year 3. hahaha. Anyway.. still, A BIG THANK YOU TO TOM for taking time off his fyp. ( opps. I must have sounded very desperate for help on the phone.) We finalized our theme. We want to do a video on Heros! At first we really couldn't think of a shell. And JY and I were trying so hard while angie and jake were at class. But then we came up with 3 ideas, one was like an army video, another was like a trailer of LOST and the last one was the Hero's themed one. Although i've never watched heros, i think it's cool to have super powers. hahaha. So, as such we have decided on heros!

Not on the right track

Today, my group after watching the videos/films realised that we weren't quite on the right track. So jake suggested that, we do 3 what ifs today and think about our 2 minutes. i still think that we should start by having a story as a group first then think of sub plots. instead of doing the subplots first then trying to make it link. oh wells. and today, i got pissed off... i think cause i wasn't feeling too well. i feel sorry for the rest of my group members for having to put up with me. but i was angry for reasons.. like i felt that jake didnt understand what i meant by to first think of what objectives we should do before thinking of the styles. And the .. i think they had views but cause we were jumping too fast into the middle section of thinking what style we should use... and cause the category was too broad, they didn't have an opinion. i guess they were still trying to get an idea of what they wanted to do first.. I wanted them to try and watch orientation vedios as a start but. Oh well.

i wanted to remind them that remember that time in video fundamentals that we did a close to 10 minutes video? 9 mins plus actually.  But we slogged out guts out to get it done. And we got an A. But so did Sholei's group. They got an A. And im sure they didnt do 9 maybe only 5 minutes. So?

I dunnoe. God will make a way. I think i should just let jake lead and not give so much trouble. I dont want to make the tension in our group tight and everything.. An i would hate for it to ruin our friendship. Angie is my best friend and i know today she tried to bear with me i know all of them did. And i love my group man. They're like all my buddies. And i know i know i know we can do well. We're not super talented. But we can pick up fast and if we work hard at it, we can beat pure talent. 4 of us working hard = to a SUPER FANTASTIC TALENTED group.

to my group: THANK YOU. =) you guys are the best. always there to cheer me up.

P.S thanks jake for trying to cheer me up just know when i was just being plain stubborn and grumpy. hahaha.

We Have Finialised!

Yay! Hmm. My group has decided to take a FUNKY outlook for our vedio. It's more of on us. Like how we all develop SUPER STRONG AND STICK HONEY-FIED GUEY friendships in MOI. And how, we all are good friends who have our own lives and ho we bring MOI into the world. =) WORLD DOMINATION!!! muahhahahahaah.

Project 1 Orientation.

heh. this is the first post. this is day 1. My group members are, Jake, Jin Yu, Angie and I. YAY! It is the same group as our vedio fundamentals project. =) YAY. discussion is still ongoing. Still dont know what to do for our video.. Have some general ideas like i want the vedio to be proper enough to be used for orientation but but but i also want the vedio to be... FUN, FUNNY and INSPIRING! Hahaha.

- Btw, Smoehtnig cool, if you keep the frsit and the lsat lteters of a wrod, it is sitll raedbale. COOL RIGHT!
